Stray In Stereo is a dungeon crawler bullet hell where the player cannot shoot but can deflect and protect from incoming enemy bullets instead. What this implies is that, when the player is on their quest to recover the cassette tape that was stolen from them at the beginning, in order to get away from the thugs attacking them, they will only have a shield that deflects the bullets they are shooting at you.
