In Overclock you play as serial number 4859148, a.k.a. Forte, a member of an elusive organization, Ouroboros. The setting of the game is Tokyo many years into the future, where the scientific use of time as an endless energy source has rendered nuclear power obsolete. Ouroboros sends out Forte's squad of its time troopers to prevent terrorists from detonating a time reactor which would cause a black hole.
